Commission Calculator

Deduction / Commission Calculator

What is Commission Calculator?

A Commission Calculator is a simple and efficient online tool that helps investors and traders calculate the total commission they pay when buying or selling shares. At KTrade, we know that understanding your transaction costs is just as important as tracking your profits. Every trade involves a small percentage fee, and knowing exactly how much you are paying helps you make smarter and more transparent investment decisions.

Our Commission Calculator instantly tells you the amount deducted as brokerage or commission based on your trade value. It gives you a clear idea of your actual net return after all charges, helping you manage your investments more effectively.

Whether you are trading frequently or investing for the long term, this calculator ensures you stay aware of your true costs.

How Does the Commission Calculator Work?

KTrade’s Commission Calculator works on a simple input system. You only need to enter:

  • The total trade amount (value of shares bought or sold)
  • The brokerage rate or commission percentage charged
  • The number of transactions (optional, if you want to calculate multiple trades)

Formula:

Commission = (Trade Amount × Commission Rate) / 100

Where:

  • Trade Amount = The total value of your stock trade
  • Commission Rate = The percentage charged by your broker

Example:
If you buy shares worth PKR 200,000 and your broker charges a 0.15 percent commission, then your commission will be:

Commission = (200,000 × 0.15) / 100 = PKR 300

This means your total cost for the trade is PKR 200,300, including commission.

Why Use the Commission Calculator?

At KTrade, we believe transparency helps investors make better decisions. The Commission Calculator allows you to:

  • Estimate your total trading cost before placing an order
  • Compare brokerage rates across different trades or brokers
  • Understand your net profit or loss after all charges

By using this tool, you gain better control over your trading expenses and can plan your investment strategy with greater confidence and accuracy.
