KTrade’s Brokerage Fee / Commission Structure

3 Paisa or 0.15% whichever is Higher

The Classic commission structure is PKR 0.03 per share for shares valued at PKR 20 or below, 0.15% of the traded value per share for shares 20.00 and above, with all fees in PKR.

  • All figures are in Pak Rupees.
  • The same commission rate will be applicable on delivery as well as day trade transactions.
  • The day trade commission will be charged on ONE side ONLY.
  • The roll over charges are applicable on Future’s Trading ONLY on daily basis. (0.01 Paisa per day or 0.15%per week whichever is higher)
  • CDC sub account custodian, transaction and maintenance charges will be collected as per actual.
  • NCCPL UIN maintenance, CGT and CGT tariff computation charges will be recovered as per actual.
  • PKR. 50 per month shall be charged on trading confirmation SMS service.
  • Sindh Sales Tax (SST) of 15% will be charge on the Brokerage Fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any charges for opening an account?

KTrade doesn’t charge any account opening fee, but NCCPL charges (PKR 300 admission, PKR 100 biometric & KYC, PKR 300 annual), CDC charges (0.0036% per transaction and 0.005625% custody fee), and a PKR 50 monthly SMS fee apply.

How long does it take to open an account?

Typically, 2-3 business days once all required documents are submitted.

Can I open a KTrade account if I already have one with another broker?

If you have a normal account, you can open up to five accounts with different brokerages. However, for Sahulat accounts, you can only maintain one at a time. If you already have a Sahulat account with another brokerage, you must close that account first before opening one with us.

What is UIN (Unique Identification Number)?

An NCCPL-issued investor ID used for all PSX transactions.

Can a client trade immediately after receiving credentials?

Yes, once the initial deposit is reflected.

What is a CDC sub-account?

A safekeeping account for the shares under the broker’s main account.

Is the day trade commission charged on both sides?

No. Only one side is charged.

Is Zakat deducted?

Yes, 2.5% on dividend (unless CZ50 form submitted).

What is CGT (Capital Gain Tax)?

Capital Gains Tax (CGT) is a tax levied on the profit you earn from selling shares or other securities.
15% for filers, 30% for non-filers.

What is the KYC process

KYC (Know Your Client) involves submitting the necessary identification documents like CNIC, address proof, and bank details for verification.
